OVERVIEW

I designed a transformative game concepts to encourage better wellness for GenZ

Our project teams worked on research, ideate and design an end-to-end experience to promote GenZ walking(micro-mobility) and makes them fun, with a focus on aligning with Honda’s focus on sustainability, technology, and mobility.

Out of Time will invoke the joy of freedom of micro-mobility as it is currently possible for players by guiding players through a walkable post-apocalyptic narrative about how changes today can rewrite a more hopeful future.

PROBLEM STATEMENTS

How might we utilize Gen Zs’ digital comfort to encourage them to soothe mental stress, prioritize physical health, and cultivate healthy habits in the process?

IDEATION

Using Journey map to describe overwhelmed by the pressures of college life and social interaction.

We found out our key users strategies to use their gaming time to reduce mental stress and anxiety; they also prioritize physical health while maintaining their gaming interest.

ITERATION

We are using various design methods to explore possibilities.

By using many design methods, we started with Crazy 100 to generate large quantity of ideas in a short amount of time, use Build-a-thon to develop main idea to build on, and from Round robin we build on others ideas and expand our creative thinking.

Designing Out of Time has been a transformative journey, allowing us to deeply understand the values and preferences of Gen Z while crafting a game that promotes wellness, sustainability, and community engagement.

We learned the importance of iterative design and the value of feedback from our target audience, which guided our design decisions and helped us create a more impactful game.
